EPB Pest Control was introduced to us via a tenant suffering from mice infestations some few months ago and we have used him for residential and commercial properties ever since, Darren is efficient and effective in any job taken for any pest present, would most definitely recommend!

I called EPB when I realised the house I had just bought was infested with mice. They were in the walls, ceilings and nesting anywhere they could find. EPB is a pest control company with a difference in that they don’t just cure the symptoms but they cure the cause. Darren systematically worked his way through my house sealing holes and baited any routes the mice were taking. Most pest control companies will only put down poison and leave you to deal with any holes etc.

We recently moved into a new flat in Stratford, which had already been previously infected with bed bugs. After reading Darren’s useful and informative blog, we decided to give him a call. Within a few hours he was at our house, walked us through the problem and the solution and took care of it for us. While exterminating the bed bugs, he also found that we had a minor mouse and cockroach problem, which he took care of as well. He even offered to deal with our letting agency directly to inform them of the extent of the problem and to receive payment directly from them. He couldnt have been any more helpful. I recently had a problem with mice in my flat and after finding Darren via google and reading reviews on here I asked him to come and help. Darren could not have been more flexible and arranged to come to mine first thing on a Saturday morning so that he could deal with the issue immediately. He laid plenty of bait and even pulled out all my kitchen appliances to cement any holes behind them.

We had a (in our opinion) bad bed bug infestation and after having a new baby, I contacted Darren on Monday and he came by on Wednesday which gave us enough time to prepare the rooms for his arrival! We read his blog and followed the instructions – including washing clothing. We have an Ottoman bed and weren’t sure what to do with the stuff underneath – Darren was very helpful looked through it all and advised us of the best action to take. He sprayed quickly but thoroughly in all our rooms and was done in about an hour (Small 2 bed house). We left and returned over 4 hours later to find many, many dead bugs (What a relief!!) after cleaning and wiping down, Darren returned the following Wednesday and sprayed again. On both occasions he was very professional while being friendly, polite, helpful and knowledgeable – to the extent he even parked a few doors down so that our neighbours didn’t notice his arrival (We thought this was incredibly thoughtful!). We are now bug free as far as we know and I couldn’t rate him highly enough, will certainly recommend to friends and family.

After a long battle with rodents that had earned me the reputation of the ‘Pied Piper of Romford’, I decided to call EPB. I had previously contacted other pest control companies but none filled me with confidence that they could resolve the issue. I had no problem in catching the rodents, but I wanted to stop them from getting into my home and alleviate that dread that came over me every time I stepped into the kitchen and looked at the trap. Within a few minutes of speaking to Darren, I felt relief and happy that he was going to see this problem through to the end! I had a problem with pigeons nesting under the solar panels. I called them on Friday and they came the following Wednesday. Despite the poor weather conditions they did not give up the job. They managed to do the job in the time frame scheduled with no mess. Price quoted was considerably cheaper than other quotes previously obtained from other contractors but the job was very well executed.They even cleaned the gutter for me without being asked. I am very happy with their service and would definitely recommend them.

Darren contacted me very promptly following initial email to get supplementary detail so that job could be costed correctly. Price was agreed and date for work arranged. Darren and Des arrived exactly on time and toiled away in very hot weather to fit pigeon deterrent to solar panels. I’m no expert, and have no inclination to climb to roof level, but from the ground it looks as though very smart and thorough work has been carried out.

I used Darren’s service almost a year ago now, and I have to say that he was professional, friendly and brilliant at identifying what is required to solve the necessary issue we had (mice). He placed professional pest poison, and two weeks later came back topped up the poison and filled up any holes that were present. To this day touch wood we have not seen any mice or droppings since we used the service. I would recommend Darren as he also was excellent at keeping in contact with me before and after the service. I contacted Darren in emergency yesterday when I saw a rat in our conservatory…. I researched a few companies that deal with bed bugs, thinking I should go with a high profile company so we didn’t get ripped off. Came across Darren”s site and was impressed by the reviews. Actually it was the response to the bad reviews that impressed me as Darren gave a lot of detail which showed his professional approach. Thought I’d give a small business a chance. Glad I did! We had solar panels installed in 2015 and from that moment the problem with pigeons started. It got to the point that we had around 20 pigeons nesting uderneath. Darren has been a godsend for me. When I moved into my new house I had a horrible problem with mice. The tenants before me clearly had a similar problem as, when I was decorating, I found traps everywhere. I phoned Darren and he came round to assess the situation. We had a problem with pigeons under our solar panels of a property that we had just bought. Having asked for several quotes Darren’s price was very competitive and having seen good reviews and pictures of other installations he had completed I decided to go ahead. We were extremely pleased with the thorough inspection and extermination of the bed bugs carried out by EPC. Darren the owner, is clearly a master of his subject and having treated the spare bedroom where we found the bed bugs, he went on to inspect other areas and found one nestled in a fabric headboard of another room, which he removed and treated. We recently asked Essex Pest & Bird Control to pigeon proof our solar panels as the constant nesting, coo’ing etc was driving us mad! Darren’s response time to our initial enquiry was minutes and the arrangement to do the work the next week, on a day that was convenient to us both, was fantastic. On the day Darren and Del arrived and set to work straightaway – they were polite and knowledgeable about what was required. We live in a tall, 3 storey Edwardian house with solar panels all on one side of the roof. Previous quotes came with scaffolding, which increases the cost immensely, however, Darren felt it wasn’t necessary and he was right! It was a bit tricky in places for them, but with their expertise they overcame any obstacles. Overall, the work was done very well and we are so happy with the result – both aesthetically and in terms of deterring the pigeons. I can confidently recommend EPB Control’s work and the professionalism of both involved. Very happy with the results.

We had just moved in to our flat and found out we had mice in the middle of the night. I freaked out and started looking for a 24h pest control service. I had reached out to several companies but none of them could come early enough for me and I ended up contacting this service. Darren got back to me very quickly and what I really liked was that not only did he give me information on the solution but he was also answering all of my questions and patiently explaining. I was so worried that it helped a lot to be speaking to someone who was also reassuring. He advised to just shut the kitchen door and put a towel at the bottom and not spend a fortune calling an emergency service that would not be able to fix the issue that evening anyway. Great advice!. We organised a day when we could meet. He found the root of the issue right away and had a plan ready to eradicate the mice. Poison first and blocking the wholes a couple of weeks later. He did an amazing job and we have not had any issue for the past year and a half. Darren is a real expert in his field and very perceptive when it comes to helping you manage your fear.
